I paid $60 to be able to use some sort of maps on my pioneer car stereo. While it is relatively user friendly, the navigation is beyond horrible. Even after getting two miles close to my house, it is asking me to go the opposite direction, taking a route that goes up and around, adding about 14 miles, including 7 miles of gravel. If I can't trust it when it's around home, how in the world is it useful for traveling? Please get up to speed with the program!

The app seems to work alright standalone. I had issues using it connected to a Weblink enabled car stereo where the keyboard wouldn't popup for destination searching, I use Gboard for my keyboard. Samsung keyboard worked after a reboot. For this I'm removing 2 stars. The navigation worked fine for me one direction, but would tell me to go around the block when the destinations were revered. Removing another star for that. While it would work, it wasn't optimal. Destination searching is clunky.

The best map for traveling Croatia unique by Mireo (not TT nor Here!), unparalleled accuracy period! App works fine so far (elder Andriod device, we'll see how that goes), navigation is good, available voices are good, support is good. Helped me navigate unknown areas multiple times and makes me wonder "Why do people nowadays even ask for directions?"! Thank You Mireo! P.S.: I am bummed You quit support for Don't Panic for which I own a license too! 😞

Pay $60 to try this out on AndroidAuto? No, thanks. And I only found that out by downloading most of a gigabyte of mostly useless maps. I like downloading all of Washington, so I know it's there when I go on a road trip. I've done that for a bunch of apps. I download Oregon if I think I'll need it, and delete it after I'm back home. I don't want most of the Western United States on my phone. I don't want to be periodically updating most of a gigabyte of maps, and I don't want to be giving up that much space. But after trying it out on my phone and deciding the maps were moderately good and the routing was moderately almost-good (not in the top ten, but most of those don't support Android Auto), I tried to use it in my car. Nope. Not unless I was willing to pay $60 for the "premium" package of "features" I don't really want or have (presumably better) versions of in other apps. I'm currently paying $35 a year, $12 a year, $24, and more. They all add up to over a hundred dollars a year for map apps. This app doesn't hold a candle to any of them. So I'm using Gaia GPS when I just want a nice, useful, full-screen map on Android Auto, and Tom-Tom when I want something a bit more driving-oriented (that was a surprise: I disliked Tom-Tom when I tried it on my phone a few years ago). I will still use Google Maps when I want what it does well and can put up with what it does awfully. What I'm really looking forward to is OsmAnd, which is supposed to be on Android Auto before the end of the year: downloadable by state in the USA or comparably sized areas elsewhere in the world (with styles ranging from driving maps to topographical, nautical, and skiing), with hourly updates available in a subscription, if anything has changed ("Genius" is quarterly). Plus a bunch of online-only map sources. Two stars instead of one, because it doesn't seem truly awful, just not particularly good. And even if the $60 is one-time, not annual, it just doesn't seem like it is worth it.

Navigation is ok, the voice instructions are particularly clear and helpful, but the interface is not ideal, the information boxes are too large for my liking, and cannot be resized, can only be on or off. When I have updated the app resets to defaults (kilometres, 12 hour clock, avoidances, notifications, voice, etc) so I have to go through them all and reset to my preferences.

US driver Pioneer 2300 and Galaxy S8. Bought car sync, traffic etc. Everything worked great except Pioneers AppRadio crashes. Use Genius Maps as backup when Android Auto crashes. Use phone display somewhat but link through BT instead just to hear the directions. Took a long time to DL maps but after they did all is well. Feedback is to auto populate destination when clicking address from (Samsung) calendar also to offer landscape mode. Pretty interface. Ok directions/traffic NE USA.

Very poor connectivity. 5 Day trial is NOT 5 days actually IN USE - so I have only looked at mapping, which seems OK but the trial ran out before I installed BRP connect!!! So quite useless. 5 days from the download is inadequate - and not explained. Paying £60, for an UNTESTED app is not sensible - a budget model SATNAV is a better bet And..... Google Maps is free!!

The detail of Genius Maps is great. I like that it offers several route options to choose from which are easy to toggle between. My only complaint I have is the interface between my smartphone and the BPR CONNECT app. Better instructions from Can Am would be appreciated, but that is not the fault of Genius Maps. Kudos for great gps software at a very reasonable price.

Got to use of ever was without signal and needed navigation. First time I tried it said my trial expired and that it couldn't complete navigation, and to upgrade to premium. There are free offline navigation apps. I'm not impressed by frills n extras. I wanna get from current position to destination. Don't care bout traffic or voice or any of that.

I liked its more comprehensive offline search. But I tested the map offline next to 3 others while traveling in Istanbul, and I was surprised to find it failed to reroute walking routes, which was constantly necessary due to closures. Every other map did, with varying success.

This application is not stable. it stops randomly while you're traveling. In order to restart, I have to pull off the road, turn the bike off, open the front trunk and restart. I hate it! Now the 2018 Spyder wont recognize my purchased maps. yes, I have restored purchases and it shows purchased on the app. Needs a lot of work!!!
